I visited the Natural History Museum the other day in order to gain some inspiration for my insect/reptile project. The exterior is exquisite from the intricate carved stonework to the interior marble and mosaic tiling. There were lots of interesting exhibits and imagery there that I took photos of such as fossilised marine reptiles and photography of insects under the microscope. I found the microorganisms of insects were really vivid and had beautiful iridescent colours which really caught my eye; something I have decided to include in my own colour pallette.
