Mary Katrantzou Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear Collection

I think Mary Katrantzou's Spring 2013 Ready-to Wear collection is simply fabulous! Her collection is about connecting cultures which she illustrates through motifs of stamps and bank note imagery repeated throughout the collection. I love the quirky detailing of stamps and how she has used details such as the serrated edges on a stamp to form interesting trims and borders in her designs. Overall her collection explores travel and foreign culture through luxurious pattern and exotic prints which I think is really successful.
