I brought in all the work I had done over the summer (sketchbook and file), excited to get back into the swing of a new project. We spent part of the day in groups making hats out of cardboard.....not exactly what I had expected. Initially I was quite skeptical of this task however, we were in groups of mixed year groups, year 0,1 2 and 3, and it was actually a really nice way of hearing other people's ideas and expressing something creative that didn't have the pressures of being graded.
We also got the chance to hear from the previous third years about their Indigo projects and their final major projects which was really interesting, informative and it was great to see how they had approached their projects in such different ways and what they have gone on to do now. The key to a good final major project appears to be organisation and keeping on top of things!
