It was encouraging to see other textile collections at Graduate Fashion Week on stands such as Bristol University (above)- It's not just about garments collections!
It was really interesting to see at GFW just how differently and creatively the different universities had designed the layout and structure of their stands. There were lots of quirky ways of displaying things such as the bicycle above and ironing boards to display portfolios and postcards as shown below.
I felt that De Montford University's stand was particularly impressive. I liked how the mannequins were on different staggered levels, the creative backdrop and I thought it looked really professional.
I like the detail on the mannequin's head - the head-piece is beautiful and really unique
